MOSCOW, May 31 (Sputnik) - Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Oleg Artemyev played football with the official FIFA World Cup ball Telstar-18 at The International Space Station on Thursday.
The video that features cosmonauts dressed in T-shirts with World Cup logos passing the ball to each other is available on Roscosmos Media Store YouTube channel.
The ball is set to be used during the opening match of the World Cup and is expected to return to Earth on Sunday.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia will be held from June 14 to July 15 in 11 cities across Russia, with the host nation facing Saudi Arabia in the opener.
