Russian Embassy in London wished good luck to England in their first match of the 2018 World Cup against Tunisia on Monday.
England will face Tunisia in the teams' first Group G match at the Volgograd Arena.
"England to play their World Cup opening game in Volgograd tonight. Good luck!" the Embassy posted on their official Twitter account on Monday.
The embassy added that they have been receiving a lot of requests for Russian flags from fans all over the United Kingdom.
The 2018 World Cup kicked off on 14 June and will continue until 15 July, with the matches set to be played in 11 cities across Russia.
