“After training, Russia’s squad will undergo a doping test. FIFA doping control officers are on site,” the message stated.

FIFA doping control officers have already visited Russia's base in the Austrian town of Neustift im Stubaital, where the 28-man squad is currently training.

FIFA, in agreement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), recently closed an investigation into possible anti-doping violations by Russian footballers due to "insufficient evidence".

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place between June 14 and July 15 at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities.
