The FIFA Council meeting took place in Moscow on Sunday.

"The meeting went very well. We finished earlier than planned, the entire agenda was exhausted. We showed our short presentation, [to explain] how everything will be organized. It was perceived very well by the Council members, no questions or potential risks were found," Sorokin said.

The meeting comes just four days ahead of the opening of the FIFA World Cup, which will be held in 11 Russian cities from June 14 to July 15.
