Egypt striker Mohamed Salah, who is recovering from injury, trained with the rest of the squad ahead of the FIFA World Cup match against hosts Russia, which will take place in St. Petersburg on Tuesday.
On Friday, Egypt lost 1-0 to Uruguay in their first Group A match with Salah spending the whole game on the bench due to the shoulder injury he sustained in late May. Later, Egypt head coach Hector Cuper said that he did not let Salah play in order to ensure the 26-year-old was fully fit to play against Russia.
Russia and Egypt were drawn in Group A along with Uruguay and Saudi Arabia.
