KALININGRAD, June 12 (Sputnik) - Serbia Defender Antonio Rukavina said Monday that his country made the right choice to be based in the Baltic Sea resort of Svetlogorsk.
"There is all the necessary infrastructure. We are very comfortable here. Thank you for the warm welcome. We made the right choice," Rukavina told the local government's press service.

Serbia arrived in the Kaliningrad Region, Russia's Western exclave, on Monday and held their first training session at the Svetlogorsk's Baltiya Training ground on the same day.
The team will play against Switzerland at the 35,000-seater Kaliningrad Stadium on June 22 after taking on Costa Rica in Samara on June 17. They will finish their group campaign against five-time champions Brazil in Moscow on June 27.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held between June 14 and July 15 at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities, including Kaliningrad which will host another three group stage matches between Croatia and Nigeria, Spain and Morocco, England and Belgium.
