Deputy Head of the City of Sochi Sergei Yurchenko says he's expecting Russia to play in the World Cup quarter-final match at Sochi's Fisht Stadium.
If Russia beat Spain in their round of 16 match they will face either Croatia or Denmark in Sochi on July 7.
"I'm not upset that Russia don't play in Sochi in the round of 16 because I'm happy the team continues to play at the World Cup. We hope they will play in Sochi in the quarter-final," Yurchenko said.
The Deputy Mayor added that, by June 29, 320,000 fans had visited Sochi's FIFA Fan Fest.
