MOSCOW, May 28 (Sputnik) - South Korea beat Honduras 2-0 at home in a friendly match held in the city of Daegu on Monday.
Striker Son Heung-min broke the deadlock on the hour mark before South Korea doubled their lead through midfielder Moon Seon-min 12 minutes later.
South Korea have qualified for this summer’s FIFA World Cup, which will take place in 11 cities across Russia from June 14 till July 15.
South Korea will face reigning champions Germany as well as Mexico and Sweden in Group F.
