South Korean President Moon Jae-in will be in attendance when his country's national team play Mexico on 23 June, say the Kremlin's press service.
The president is expected to arrive in Russia on 21 June at the invitation of Vladimir Putin.
"Moon Jae-in will also be present at the FIFA World Cup match between the national teams of the Republic of Korea and Mexico, which will take place in Rostov-on-Don on 23 June," the press service said.
South Korea will also face defending champions Germany and Sweden in Group F at the tournament.
