Spain's Culture and Sports Minister Jose Guirao is set to accompany King Felipe VI to support their national team at the World Cup round of 16 match against Russia at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Monday (12am AEST), the Spanish government's press service said.
On Thursday, the Spanish Embassy in Moscow said that the king would pay a short visit to Russia to attend the match and support Spain at the tournament.
The minister has already visited Russia to attend Spain's group-stage match at the Kazan Arena on June 20, when they beat Iran 1-0.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.
