ST. PETERSBURG, July 3 (Sputnik) - Switzerland forward Josip Drmic said on Tuesday that his team’s attacking game did not work against Sweden and his side did not have a "single good chance to score" during their 1-0 defeat at the St. Petersburg Stadium on Tuesday.
"We are very upset with the result of the match. I would not say that the result is unfair. Unfortunately, our attacks did not work, we did not have a single good chance to score. It was hard because our team is stronger, than what we showed [today]," Drmic told journalists.
Switzerland were defeated 1-0 by Sweden at the St. Petersburg Stadium on Tuesday and will be heading home, while Sweden advance to the quarter-finals.
In their quarter-final in Samara on Saturday, Sweden will face Colombia or England.
