Switzerland forward Haris Seferovic said on Tuesday that his team "lacked a bit of luck" to score against Sweden in their Round of 16 World Cup encounter at the St. Petersburg Stadium that resulted in his side's 1-0 defeat.
"We lacked a bit of luck to score. We were very close a number of times, but Sweden had a strong defence. This is football, there is nothing we can do now. We are very sad now because we dreamed of making it to the quarter-finals," Seferovic told journalists.
Sweden reached their first World Cup quarter-final since 1994 and will next play England or Colombia in Samara on Sunday morning AEST.
