Team director Oliver Bierhoff said on Friday that Germany will need a couple of days to adapt to the conditions of the World Cup in Russia and work out their logistics.
The reigning world champions arrived at their World Cup base camp in Vatutinki, just outside the Russian capital, on Tuesday.
“We live in great conditions. We train on an excellent pitch. We have a great team that really feels like a whole… Yes, sometimes there are logistics issues in the first days. [We] need to adapt to current conditions, this takes a couple of days. That’s the way it was [at the previous tournaments] in South Africa and Brazil,” Bierhoff told journalists.
Germany will play their first game of the tournament against Mexico at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday.
The four-time World Cup winners will also play Sweden in Sochi on June 23 and South Korea in Kazan on June 27 in as a part of Group F.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will last till July 15, with the games set to be played at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities.
