France midfielder Paul Pogba said that those who used to criticise his side were now celebrating their 2018 FIFA World Cup victory.
France won the 2018 FIFA World Cup after beating Croatia 4-2 in the final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Monday (AEST).
"We're the world champions - we have won!," Pogba said post-match.
"We used to be criticised, but it doesn't matter now, as those who used to criticise us are now celebrating with us."
"We managed to win the World Cup, and now all the critical comments are left behind. But it doesn't mean that I think I'm the best, it's just another step forward.
"We'll continue improving as a team, and we all continue learning."
