England defenders Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker and midfielder Jordan Henderson are all doubtful for the team's FIFA World Cup third place match, which will take place on Sunday (AEST), the UK media reported.
England lost 2-1 to Croatia in extra time in their first World Cup semi-final since 1990 and will now face Belgium in the third place play-off in St. Petersburg.
According to the UK TV channel Sky Sports, the three players may miss the match after Trippier, who scored the only goal for England, was forced off the pitch at the end of extra time with groin injury and the two defenders were substituted due to "cramp and fatigue."
This year's World Cup will come to an end on Monday (AEST), with France facing Croatia in the final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
