A total of 20 flights will deliver football fans to the southern Russian city of Volgograd for the World Cup match between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, according to the city's airport.
The two Arab teams will play each other at midnight AEST after both were eliminated from the tournament following their respective defeats by hosts Russia and Uruguay in their opening Group A games.
"A total of 20 airplanes, carrying fans, will arrive in Volgograd today. Three of these planes are private, including a direct flight from London. Two more direct flights from Cairo flew in over the weekend," the press service said.
Russia is currently hosting its first-ever FIFA World Cup, with the matches taking place at 12 venues across 11 Russian cities.
