Uruguay, who are set to play at this summer's FIFA World Cup in Russia, have defeated Uzbekistan 3-0 in their last warm-up friendly ahead of the tournament.
The match took place in the Uruguayan capital Montevideo on Thursday night.
Midfielder Giorgian De Arrascaeta scored the opener for Uruguay in the 32nd minute, while the team's all-time leading scorer Luis Suarez doubled Uruguay's lead after converting a penalty nine minutes into the second half.
Defender Jose Gimenez netted the third goal for the hosts in the 73rd minute, with Uzbekistan suffering another blow after seeing their defender Akramjon Komilov sent off with a straight red card minutes later.
Uruguay will face Egypt in their first match at the upcoming tournament on June 15, before taking on Saudi Arabia and hosts Russia in their other two Group A games.
Russia will host the World Cup from June 14 to July 15. The matches are set to take place at 12 stadiums in 11 cities across the country.
