Denmark, who won their first game against Peru 1-0 on Saturday, occupy the second place in the Group C standings with four points, while Australia are in the third place with one point. France lead the group with six points after their second win of the tournament in Thursday's encounter with Peru.

"I also said here, [after the match] against France, I was disappointed and also proud because we also deserve more, I think. But the conclusion is we have one point, but we deserve four points... Besides the first 15 minutes, we played very well and had chances to win, and we deserve to win, so I'm disappointed," van Marwijk told journalists.

The head coach added that the team played well in the second half of the game.

"After 15 or 20 minutes we started to play the way we like, to build up and to take positions in the midfield and to find our free men there. In first 15 minutes we were maybe a little bit restless, but after that we started to play football and have confidence on the ball... And from that moment on, we controlled a big part of the game. In the first half there were not many chances, but in the second half we played very well, created chances and it's unbelievable pity that we didn't score," he said.
