Peru hope to defeat Australia in their final FIFA World Cup match for their supporters, the team's forward and captain Paolo Guerrero said on Monday.
Peru were knocked out of the tournament after losing their first two Group C games to Denmark and France, and will face Australia in Sochi tomorrow night at midnight AEST.
Australia must beat Peru to have any chances of reaching the last 16.
"The team has fully restored, we're looking forward to this match," said Guerrero.
"We'd like to go back home with three points to bring a little joy to our people. Those supporters who came here to Russia deserve it, for sure."
