Brazil midfielder Willian apologised to his team's fans for their performance during the World Cup quarter-final match against Belgium.
Brazil lost to Belgium 2-1 in Kazan and were eliminated from the tournament, while the Red Devils progressed to the World Cup semi-finals.
"We are very upset," Willian said.
"It's hard for us to put up with this loss as we were dreaming about entering the finals at least. I'm apologizing to all the Brazilian fans who expected us to win."
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.
