France midfielder Paul Pogba said his side wanted to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup final, as it could be the last game for some of his teammates.
France beat neighbours Belgium 1-0 in St. Petersburg on Wednesday morning to reach the World Cup final, where they will face either Croatia or England on Monday (AEST).
"It was a difficult match for both teams" Pogba said. "The difference was in the details. We were very strong in the defence, we scored a goal from a corner kick.
"Now there's a big match ahead of us, the World Cup final. Perhaps, it will be the last match for some of our players. We want to win it."
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the final set to be played at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
