"The broadcasts will take place on the days when the [Russian] national team will be playing, with the team set to play at least three group-stage games at the tournament, against Saudi Arabia in Moscow on June 14, against Egypt in St. Petersburg on June 19 and against Uruguay in Samara on June 25," the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry's spokeswoman, Elena Skryabinskaya, told Sputnik that admission to the stadium will be free of charge.

"At the moment we've prepared 5,000 seats, but in case the demand is higher... additional seats could be arranged," Skryabinskaya said.

Russia’s first-ever FIFA World Cup will take place from June 14 to July 15 in 11 cities across the country, Moscow, Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi and Yekaterinburg.
