Belgium defeated the five-time World Cup champions Brazil 2-1 in the World Cup quarter-final match in Kazan.

“So far the tournament is unfolding in a way perfect for us, we managed to win all our games! It’s a huge victory for our country," Tielemans said post match.

"We concentrated on Brazil and managed to win. France? We can defeat them, but the game will be very difficult. But it can’t be any other way in a World Cup semi-final."

Belgium will now look to analyze all their mistakes in the quarter-final game and prepare for their next match, the Monaco midfielder added.

The semi-final between Belgium and France will take place in St. Petersburg on Wednesday morning (AEST).

The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.
