Twenty matches into the tournament, the World Cup's one millionth fan will attend Australia's match against Denmark tonight.
The crunch game is being played at the 42,000-seater Samara Arena at 10:00pm tonight.
It's estimated that a total of 2.8 million fans will have attend matches by the end of the tournament.
That would be down on the 3.43 million that attended the 64 matches of the previous tournament, staged by Brazil in 2014.
