Barcelona waved goodbye to the legend that is Andres Iniesta.
Andres Iniesta will move on from FC Barcelona this summer, closing the curtain on his glittering Barca career.
The Camp Nou crowd paid a stunning tribute to the Spanish international before the game, with fans joining forces to form a mosaic around the stadium which read 'Infinite Iniesta'.
During his time with Barcelona, the worldwide footballing legend won 32 trophies across all competitions including the European Championships, and also owns a World Cup winner’s medal.
Iniesta was substituted with only 10 minutes left before the final whistle in Barca’s final game of the season, with the crowd, his team-mates and opposition all applauding him off the field.
Iniesta's departure will create a big hole in the star-studded side, but coach Ernesto Valverde is confident they can cope without him. "We won't get a replica of Andres Iniesta," Valverde said in the build-up to the game.
The now 34-year-old has been playing for the first team for 16 years, yet on the Catalonian’s books for over 20.
Iniesta has achieved 32 trophies over his 16 years with the first team including the World Cup and the European Championships.
Deemed a legend of Barcelona and Spanish football, he has become one of the world’s finest and was one of Barcelona’s main men when it came to important matches.

"Today is a difficult day but it’s been 22 marvellous years. It’s been a pride and a pleasure to defend and represent this badge, for me, the best in the world," Iniesta said.
"Thanks to all my team-mates, each and every one. I will miss you all so much. And thank you to the fans, for all your love, everything you've made me feel since I arrived here as a boy, I leave as a man. I will keep you in my heart forever”.
"To finish, this week has left me speechless. Visca Barca, visca Catalunya, and visca Fuentealbilla (his home town)."
