Heidelberg United lifted the 2017 NPL Victoria premiership after a thrilling 5-3 win over Bulleen Lions on Sunday afternoon.

Bulleen fired out of the blocks taking an early two-goal lead untl 'King Kenny' stepped up to convert a crucial penalty on the cusp of half time.

The Bergers came out a different team in the second stanza and piled home four goals to run out winners and snare the title.

A fantastic achievement but not quite the end of their season, they head up to Sydney to take on Sydney United in the FFA Cup in midweek.
