It was honours even in Saturday's Powerchair Derby!
It started as a bit of a scrappy affair before the Powerchair Wanderers took the upper hand early, pressing their cross-town rivals hard.
Yet the first goal went to the boys in blue in the sixth minute with a goal to Andrew Kim.
Not to be behind for long, Abdullah Karim replied a minute later to square things up. That was the end of the goals for the game, yet there were more chances than you could point a spanner at, with both sides having chances to take early bragging rights.
Ultimately the game ended 1-1, setting things up for a winner-take-all return leg next Saturday, 3pm at Kevin Betts Stadium.
