The Matildas were in fine form once again as a Sam Kerr hat-trick helped them to a 4-2 victory over Japan on Monday morning (AEST).
Despite falling behind early, the Matildas struck back with three first-half goals from Kerr.
Emily Van Egmond added a fourth via the penalty spot in the second 45, before Japan scored a late consolation.
The win puts them on six points, three ahead of USA who defeated Brazil 4-3. The Matildas now play Brazil in their final game, with a point enough to win the Tournament of Nations.
