On Thursday night Nike Australia and Football Federation Australia revealed the 2018 Australian National Team Collection to be worn by the Socceroos and the Matildas in Russia and Jordan.

Gold from top to bottom, the kit resembles a sea of gold with a rolling wave graphic that runs along the sleeve and shoulders, outlined in dark green.

The home kit pays homage to the epic coming of age match in Australia - November 2005 - when the Socceroos defeated Uruguay to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in 32 years. Team captain Mark Viduka called on the support of every Australian fan to create a "sea of gold".

The Matildas will be the first to wear the new home kit on April 8. “It’s our most important tournament of the year as it’ll decide if we head to France next year,” said Matildas great Caitlin Foord, at the Sydney launch event. “It’s fitting we play this crucial debut match in the new home kit.”

So what's the verdict?
