The Socceroos beat Sydney Olympic 7-2 after a second half blitz made up for a very poor first half. The first 45 ended 2-2 after goals from Mark Milligan and Craig Goodwin, countered by Olympic equalisers from Amaury Gauthier and Zak Elrich. But the Roos came out firing in the second half as Milligan grabbed his hat-trick, with more goals for the Roos from Dario Vidosic, Michael Thwaite and Andrew Hoole.
