EXCLUSIVE: The Beijing-bound Olyroos are tipped to tour the USA next month, insiders tell au.fourfourtwo.com.
A trip to San Francisco late next month will form the first stage of an extensive pre-Olympic Games preparation granted to coach Graham Arnold over the next six months.
There will be around 20 friendly matches plus a number of camps as the Aussies finetune a realistic shot at a medal in China.
Part of that preparation has already begun in Melbourne with Olyroo members of Pim Verbeek's national team squad undergoing their own training session this morning separate from the Socceroos.
Arnie's U/23s - – Danny Vukovic, Bruce Djite, Leigh Broxham, Nikolai-Topor Stanley, Mark Bridge, James Holland and Stuart Musialik – were put through a rigorous beep test this morning to analyse their fitness.
