14-year old Ovelar scored the opening goal in the biggest Paraguayan fixture of the league season between Cerro Porteno and Club Olimpia.

The forward who isn't old enough to drive or drink, made his professional debut just last week, becoming the youngest player to play in the Paraguayan Primera Division.

Olimpia and Cerro Porteno are the two most successful teams in Paraguayan history securing 41 and 32 league titles respectively and their clashes are the some of the most anticipated games of the league season.

Ovelar who is just two months shy of his 15th birthday, opened the scoring for Cerro, chipping the keeper in the 16th minute.

The derby featured two penalties in injury time both of which were converted as the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

The game ended in controversy as Hernesto Caballero of Olimpia and Victor Caceres of Cerro Porteno were sent off in the 99th minute.

While the game ended in a draw, it was still a dream come true for Fernando Ovelar who becomes the youngest scorer in Primera Division history.
