A look at the action from round 26 of the A-League Men where the finals places were locked in.
THEY SAID IT: "Ultimately, I think if we're going to look for a signing in the off-season, I think that's the biggest signing we can make" - Newcastle coach Arthur Papas says the Jets desperately need to get a new owner.
MAN OF THE WEEK: Marco Tilio or Marco Tulio? Take your pick. The City and Socceroos attacker scored two wonderful goals, including a 93rd-minute winner, to see off Western Sydney on Friday night. Meanwhile Tulio was spectacular in Central Coast's big 4-1 win over Adelaide, scoring two fantastic goals to seal second place and an AFC Cup berth.
STAT ATTACK: Adam Le Fondre has scored four goals in his past four games to head into the finals in ripping form.
TALKING POINT: Could there be a more enticing first-up elimination final than Western Sydney v Sydney FC? The arch-rivals meet in a final for the first time, it's sudden-death and there's no shortage of animosity. Get the popcorn.
BEAT THAT: Tilio's late winner summed up his brilliance. The attacker received a nice switch from Leckie, skipped into the 18-yard box and between the Wanderers' defenders before scoring past Lawrence Thomas.
UNDER PRESSURE: Hard questions will have to be asked after Melbourne Victory's insipid finish to the season, a 1-0 home loss to Brisbane. The traditional powerhouse finished second-bottom and coach Tony Popovic said they will "have to do a review on everything" after their dramatic drop-off from last season.
UP NEXT: Adelaide will host Wellington in their elimination final on Friday night before Western Sydney take on Sydney FC on Saturday night. City and the Mariners get the week off.
