A goal in the first minute from Jones Kusi-Asare put AaB on their way to a 3-2 win at Randers FC in the SAS-Liga today.
Kusi-Asare, a loan signing from fellow strugglers Esbjerg, raced out of the blocks to grab his first for the club, then saw the lead erased by half-time substitute Ousmane Sarr's strike five minutes into the second period.
Ronnie Nielsen (61) and Jens Kristian Sorensen (76) then helped establish a more secure lead, which held even when Issah Ahmed netted with nine minutes to play to set up a tense finish.
