DANISH champions AaB Aalborg finished the season nine points clear after signing off with a 2-0 win at home to Odense.
AaB, who wrapped up the title with two games to spare, opened the scoring two minutes from the end of the first half through Steve Olfers and doubled their lead after 79 minutes thanks to Jeppe Curth.
FC Midtjylland secured second place with a 3-0 win at FC Nordsjaelland which kept them two points ahead of third-placed FC Copenhagen.
Kolja Afriyie put the visitors in front after 44 minutes and Danny Olsen scored two minutes into the second half before second-half substitute Jude Nworuh netted the third in stoppage time.
Copenhagen needed to win and hope for dropped points by Midtjylland if they were to take second. They picked up three points by defeating Lyngby 3-1 thanks to two goals from Atiba Hutchinson but the other result did not go their way.
Canadian Hutchinson got his first after two minutes only for already-relegated Lyngby to equalise through Jesper Hakansson in the 12th minute.
Marcus Allback restored Copenhagen's lead five minutes later and Hutchinson's second after 63 minutes secured victory.
Like Lyngby's, Viborg's relegation had already been confirmed and they dropped down a division after a 2-1 defeat at Esbjerg.
Mickael Murcy put the home side ahead after 40 minutes and there was a goal for each side in stoppage time, Nicolai Hogh scoring for Esbjerg and Jacob Olesen for Viborg.
Elsewhere, AC Horsens came from behind to beat AGF Aarhus 2-1.
Jesper Blicher had put the home side ahead after 24 minutes but Macena Gilberto equalised for Horsens two minutes later and Henrik Hansen scored the winner after 33 minutes.
Randers FC also came from behind, as they beat Brondby 2-1.
Martin Ericsson put the visitors in front on the half-hour but Randers secured victory thanks to Marc Nygaard's 55th-minute penalty and Soren Berg's winner a minute from the end.
