The Arsenal midfielder has left New Balance it seems, but now, it looks like he's stuck in limbo.
Aaron Ramsey, once the face of New Balance Football, now stuck without a solid boot supplier backing him on the pitch.
Rewind to early 2015, New Balance had just entered the magical world of football. Among their ranks of players were Tim Cahill, Vincent Kompany, Alvaro Negredo, Adnan Januzaj, Fernando Reges, Marouane Fellaini, Samir Nasri and Aaron Ramsey. Amazingly, none of these players still wear New Balance.
Aaron Ramsey became New Balance Football's face, headlining the Visaro range. After sticking with the first generation Visaro, a release that was praised by professionals, boot critics and fans from around the world, Ramsey could've potentially fallen out of love with the brand, with the release of the Visaro 2.0.

The photo above shows Ramsey laced up in the brilliant first generation Visaro from New Balance, a boot he regularly praised on his social media. This boot was promoted mainly through Ramsey, and fans were given the first look of it in a pre-season tour when it first came out. However, the Visaro 2.0 failed to deliver this same amount of quality and comfort as its older brother.
Many pros (including Tim Cahill) made severe modifications to their second generation Visaro, Aaron Ramsey most noticeable. Our guess as to why? New Balance were desperate to keep him in the 'N'. The soleplate and upper were different to the usual model.
Towards the end of his stint with New Balance, the brand even handed Ramsey with his own, custom pair of boots, where just 100 pairs were made.

However, despite the efforts of New Balance, it seemed like it was simply a case of 'home is where the heart is', and for Ramsey, this meant Adidas. The switch was first noticed in October of last year, soon after the midfielder was spotted wearing blackouts at Arsenal training.
When the Welshman was originally contracted to Adidas, the Predator was his boot of choice, wearing it for a lengthy amount of time.
Upon a return to Adidas, it seemed like the ACE 17.1 was making him happy. Ramsey carried the ACE line with him through to the North London Derby in November. However, one game later, he was seen in a new pair of boots after the return of the Predator.

Next please. Ah, the Predator! Ramsey picked up the recently released Adidas Predator as he further distanced himself from New Balance.
When the Predator was released in November, it took the football community by storm, headlined by players such as Pogba. Never once was Aaron Ramsey used in Adidas' marketing for the boot, indicating that nothing formal has eventuated between the two.

While many fellow pros opted to stick with a traditional lace system on the Predators, Ramsey decided to join the lace less revolution, hitting the pitch in the Predator 18+.

Soon after Arsenal's number eight seemed settled in the Adidas Predator, we saw him take to the Premier League pitches in a pair of Nike's Hypervenom from the Fire Pack. No one saw this coming.
The sudden move from Adidas to Nike proves a decision on who he will sign with, eventually. What it also tells us, is that the lengthy absence says he is done with New Balance.
