AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati has extended his contract at the San Siro, the club have confirmed.
Abbiati toady put pen to paper on a new deal that will tie him to the Rossoneri until June 30, 2011.
The 31-year-old has been at Milan since 1998 but has spent the past few seasons on loan at Juventus, Torino and Atletico Madrid after falling behind Dida and Aussie Zeljko Kalac in the pecking order.
However, since returning to the San Siro in the summer he has regained his status as first-choice goalkeeper.
