FC Seoul and Nagoya Grampus booked their places in the last 16 of the AFC Champions League with Group F victories over Al Ain and Hangzhou Greentown.
Dejan Damjanovic scored twice as Seoul cruised past their UAE opponents 3-0 at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
The hosts took the lead after 15 minutes when Mauricio Molina found space on the left wing and while his low cross was mis-controlled by Damjanovic on the edge of the area, it ran through to Go Yo-han who lifted the ball over keeper Ismail Rabee.
Seoul's second came six minutes before half-time when Koh Myung-ji curled in a delightful ball from the left side that eluded the UAE defenders standing on the edge of the six-yard box but not the diving Damjanovic, whose powerful header gave the goalkeeper no chance.
Damjanovic claimed his second and Seoul's third in the 73rd minute when he beat the goalkeeper to a lobbed ball into the area from Koh and his header looped over Rabee and bounced into the net
Nagoya, meanwhile, edged out Hangzhou Greentown at home 1-0 thanks to Jungo Fujimoto's second-half penalty.
Tianjin Teda became the first team from Group E to qualify for the last 16 with a 3-0 win over Jeju United.
Argentinian striker Luciano Olguin headed the hosts in front seven minutes in before Wu Weian doubled the advantage when he tucked home a rebound midway through the first-half.
Cao Yang converted a penalty 19 minutes before the final whistle although Tianjin were reduced to 10 men in stoppage time when substitute Ma Leilei picked up a second yellow card.
All is not lost for the Koreans, however, as Melbourne Victory's 1-1 draw at home to Gamba Osaka means all three sides still have a chance to progress in next week's final group games.
Melbourne took the lead early when Adrian Leijer headed home a corner but Sota Nakazawa levelled before half-time when he pounced on a rebound.
Sepahan claimed one of Group A's two last 16 berths despite being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Al Hilal.
Abdullah Al Dossary had given Al Hilal the lead just a minute into the second-half when he fired into the bottom corner but Moharram Navidkia equalised eight minutes later.
Both sides now have 10 points with Al Gharafa in third on seven following their comprehensive 5-2 victory over Al Jazira in Doha, in which Iraq striker Younis Mahmoud grabbed a hat-trick. Sepahan, though, have a superior head-to-head record over both Al Hilal and the Qataris.
Finally, in Group B, Al Nassr look set to join Al Sadd in the knockout stage as Bader Al Mutwa scored twice in a 4-0 win over Pakhtakor.
Saud Hamoud had given the hosts a dream start with an excellent diving header after seven minutes before Al Mutwa opened his account 18 minutes later with a sidefoot finish.
Mohammed Al Sahlawi then headed home the third on the hour mark from close range before Mutwa claimed his second and Al Nassr's fourth four minutes later with another clinical finish.
