Adelaide United to host FFA Cup final

Adelaide United will welcome Sydney FC to Coopers Stadium on October 30 in a rematch of the FFA Cup final.

In a first for the national knockout comp, the hosting rights for the cup decider were determined by a live draw on Fox Sports.

Kaine Sheppard, who played for Avondale FC during the competition and recently signed his first professional contract with the Newcastle Jets, made himself an instant hero in Adelaide when he drew the Reds.
