ADELAIDE United's match with Changchun Yatai has been put back 24 hours because of the three-day mourning period in China for earthquake victims.
The Asian Football Confederation announced on their website on Monday that the Group E game at Changchun City Stadium would now be played on Thursday, May 22.
Adelaide have a two-point lead in the group and need to avoid defeat against the Chinese champions to become the first Australian side to reach the knockout stage of the competition.
In addition to the postponement, a minute's silence will be observed before the kick-off of all Asian Champions League matches on Wednesday as a mark of respect for the victims of the recent natural disasters in China and Myanmar.
Cyclone Nargis has reportedly left at least 100,000 people dead in the Irrawady delta of Myanmar, while the 7.9-magnitude quake in Sichuan province on May 12 has resulted in the deaths of more than 34,000 people.
The AFC have announced a relief fund of US$250,000 each for the reconstruction of football facilities in the two countries.
