The individualised boots included personal stitching such as Cahill adding his children's names and Lampard paying tribute to his recently deceased mother.

The boots could have been spotted as Cahill's Everton took on Stoke, Lampard's Chelsea moved top of the EPL ladder after victory over Liverpool, Barcelona maintained their 100% start to the season with Xavi over Almeria, and Schweinsteiger's FC Bayern Munich battled with 1.FC Köln in Germany. The boots were then raffled off after the games.
