Goalkeeper Rene Adler has pulled out of the Germany squad with a muscle injury.
The Bayer Leverkusen keeper will miss the Euro 2012 qualifier against Kazakhstan in Kaiserslautern on Saturday and the friendly against Australia in Monchengladbach the following Tuesday, the German Football Association announced this evening.
Coach Joachim Low and goalkeeping coach Andreas Kopke have decided not to call up a replacement for the 26-year-old.
Schalke's Manuel Neuer and Werder Bremen's Tim Wiese are the other keepers in the squad.
