Adriano would relish the chance to play with Brazil again.
The 25-year-old Internazionale striker is in Sao Paulo city receiving treatment at their Physiotherapy and Physiology Sporting Recovery centre (Reffis).
Adriano, who has had a difficult season at Inter, is hoping his time at Reffis will help him return to the national team set-up.
"I hope I can go back to the national team one day," said the frontman. "I'm working very hard to achieve that."
Adriano also praised Brazil coach Dunga.
"He is working well and has a strong, united squad in his hands," Adriano said.
Adriano has had a lot of personal problems since the death of his father in 2004 and that has had a negative impact on his form, and career.
Meanwhile, Inter have dismissed speculation linking Brazil striker Adriano with a move away from the San Siro in the January transfer window.
Even though he has hardly figured under Roberto Mancini this term, Inter president Massimo Moratti is not interested in selling a player once considered one of the world's best.
"Adriano will remain at Inter in January," said Moratti.
"I can rule out now any talk of his departure."
Adriano has been linked with a number of clubs in England as well as Sao Paulo, Flamengo and Santos in his homeland.
