The 27-year-old recently announced he is taking a break from football after failing to return to Milan following Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Peru.

Reports today suggested Inter are looking to tear up Adriano's contract, but Gilmar Rinaldi said he had had positive meetings with the club's management.

"The meeting was very good and positive, but we have sorted out nothing yet nor signed anything," he told GloboEsporte.com.

"Now I will talk to Adriano and tell him what Inter Milan told me. We'll analyse things calmly and together.

"I told them (Inter) what is happening to Adriano here and they told me what they intend to do.

"At the end of next week, I will fly back to Italy to solve this situation."
