The Confederation of African Football's (CAF) Disciplinary Board will examine reports from match officials after Zamalek fans stormed the field after a late goal was disallowed with the visitors leading 5-4 on aggregate in the round of 16 clash in Cairo.

The referee was targeted, as were players from the Tunisian visitors with captain Wissem Ben Yahia, Aymen Soltani and Seifeddine Akremi reportedly injured amid the chaos.

The Egyptian Football Association have abandoned plans to resume domestic football in mid-April after the incident.
