Reports in France had touted the former Liverpool manager as a possible replacement for under-fire coach Antoine Kombouare.

"They are just rumours that's all," Manuel Garcia Quilon told www.tuttomercatoweb.it.

"The coach is waiting for a call but there are no concrete offers. If something concrete should arise, we will evaluate it."

PSG beat Auxerre 3-2 last weekend to end a run of three consecutive defeats and climb to second in Ligue 1.

Benitez, who has been out of a job since parting company with Inter Milan in December 2010, has also been a reported target of Roma.
