After a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Tashkent, the hosts were the better side throughout this encounter as goals from Sultan Al Nemri, Amine Chermiti, Hicham Aboucherouane and captain Mohammed Noor sealed the win.

Al Ittihad will next tackle Nagoya Grampus in the last four.

From the outset the Saudi side made their intentions known and almost took the lead in the 25th minute when Aboucherouane struck a powerful effort from distance that Temur Juraev did well to palm over the crossbar.

They took the lead shortly before the break when Juraev could only punch Aboucherouane's drive into the path of Al Nemri and the forward headed home from close range.

Chermiti increased his side's lead in the 55th minute when the on-loan Hertha Berlin player latched onto a long ball from midfield and volleyed into the back of the net.

Pakhtakor's slim hopes of a fightback were ended with 20 minutes remaining when Aboucherouane headed home from a corner beyond Juraev.

Skipper Noor then added shine to the win with his side's fourth six minutes later, sweeping home when unmarked inside the area.
