UAE club Al Shabab Al Arabi have declined an approach from Ronaldinho calling him "overpriced" and uncontrollable.
The 33-year-old Brazil international is currently playing for Atletico Mineiro in his native country but was linked with a move to Dubai after entering negotiations with Al Arabi recently.
However, despite them last week questioning why anyone would not want the midfielder, the club have now backtracked.
"We wrote back to Ronaldinho's agent last week and declined his offer," the club's vice president Khalid Bu Humaid told Gulf News.
"He's just overpriced and the second thing is his attitude off the field. If they could not control him at Barcelona, he can't be controlled at Dubai."
Ronaldinho was offered to the club for a fee of €6 million and finance seemingly played a big part in the change of decision, with the club previously labelling their chances of securing him at 50 percent.
