Broich startingly revealed he would leave Roar at the end of this season when speaking to The Courier Mail, with the club caught out by the revelations.

The 36-year-old German midfielder said Aloisi had told him he was unsure if he could offer him a new deal next term, with Broich deciding to leave as a result.

Broich explained his decision in detail in The Courier Mail, leaving Roar fans upset that the club had been unable to find money in the salary cap to accommodate the two-time Johnny Warren Medallist.

The club put out a statement on Wednesday afternoon, with Aloisi saying the door will always be open to Broich.

“Thomas has been a joy to coach and an excellent professional both on and off the field,” Aloisi said.

“Thomas Broich is a Champion of our Club, and we want to send him out a winner.

“The door will always be open at Brisbane Roar; we hope to see him back here in the future.”

Broich was quoted in the statement, calling on Roar fans to come out to Suncorp Stadium for Friday’s elimination final against Western Sydney Wanderers.

“I’ve experienced some incredibly amazing moments at Suncorp Stadium in front of the Orange Army,” Broich said.

“I believe together we can create another memorable night this Friday.”
