The Roar have played four consecutive away games across the A-League and AFC Champions League.

With a long list of home matches ahead to round off the 2016/17 season, Aloisi is backing Roar to take momentum into the A-League finals series.

“Our last four games have been away. We have four games remaining, three are at home and we know how strong we are at Suncorp Stadium,” Aloisi said.

“We feel that we’re in good shape and we are determined to come into the finals as high up the table as possible.”

Roar and Victory have played out a number of epic clashes in recent times with Roar snatching a 1-1 draw in stoppage time in their last meeting at Suncorp Stadium, preceded by a classic elimination final that featured three goals in the final 10 minutes.

Victory got the better of the Roar in the side’s last meeting in January as a spirited Brisbane comeback fell short in a 3-2 defeat at AAMI Park.

“It was one of those games when they appeared to score every time they went forward. We started the game well and we feel if we can play at that level we can win here,” Aloisi said.

Both sides are without a host of experienced players as Roar Captain Matt McKay has been ruled out with a knee injury while Victory trio Besart Berisha, Marco Rojas and James Troisi are all absent through international duty.

“It’s not great losing any player but we have Luke DeVere coming back and Tommy Oar isn’t far away. We’ve been playing well and we’re feeling that we’re in good shape,” Aloisi said.

Melbourne-born Greek defender Avram Papadopoulos has been named to play his first match at Suncorp Stadium after featuring in the side’s last four matches on the road.
